My name is Sam Miller and I graduated from the University of Hartford's illustration program in May of 2023. There I majored in Illustration and minored in animation.

With every painting or artwork I release, there is a fantastical story attached, be it a monstrous subject matter or even a simple still life, because the world around us doesn't always have to be seen as ordinary. A desk covered in books could turn into a wizard's study or an apothecary table. A common bedroom could be transformed into a young vampire's lair- The possibilities are endless if you only remember to turn on your imagination. What I aim to create with my work is a chance to tap into that childhood wonder that still exists somewhere in your mind, no matter how deep you've tried to bury it. I believe everyone's life could be improved with a touch of fantasy and a brighter imagination. So I hope when you look over my work, they can help your mind wander into worlds unlike our own with witches and magic and monsters, where your inner adventurer can explore and experience enchantment... And maybe even a hint of fear.
